Welcome to the inner most raw form of what goes through my head as I work.. a constant mash up of early rock/ pop songs.
Now that we have settled into some form of routine and you have a general idea of who I am; my mission is to take you all on a weekly replay. Some weeks I feel like I will jump back to a repressed memory, or something just on my mind related to my journey. So, if there is anything you would like me to focus on please feel free to share.
On this weeks episode of my role as business owner;
I had the absolute privilege of onboarding a new bestie as a client, which we had our kick off call on Monday. After my call I prepared for a quick “pow wow” as she called it, with my most delightful collaborator/ client before we did a joined LIVE on her Facebook and Instagram. I love getting to work with such empowering and fun gal pals. Connecting with those in the psych community is the highlight of my week. When working with new clients, I try to make sure our personalities and goals match. I feel like the best partnerships are those who you can relate to as well as share your common achievements. You will be surprised how much your collaborators will root you on! It is truly motivating and very much appreciated! That being said, who you work with should and does reflect you. You should want to work with people that lift you up NOT look at you as their employee. Keep in mind; you are a business owner as well.
Tuesday was started with a much needed guided meditation by a fellow inspiration. Healer, Art Therapist, Creative Coach; Jade (also known as yourpiece.art on IG). The experience was calming, centering, and more needed than I knew! I highly recommend you check out her work and even sign up for her classes! She is one the first people I actually connected with on social media and still to this day is someone I look forward to hearing from!
Once I completed my morning of grounding; the rest of the week sort of flew by. I feel more opened; in my movement, mind, and soul. I believe taking time to yourself and checking in with you is the most important part of the day. You need to know what you want in order to go get it!
Now, a question for you; How will you choose to be more mindful for the upcoming week? Share with me.
xoxo your bestie,
Maria
